Adult League Rules
General 805 Beach League Rules
1. If your team no show’s more than 1 time than we can and will remove you from the league (no refund)
2. Free Agent/Subs are allowed! They just need to sign the waiver.
3. If there’s a dispute over a call, just replay it!
4. Let’s all be respectful towards each other, if someone is not doing a good job of this then we can kick them out and/or not allow them to sign up for future league events.
Schedule
There will be two matches each evening. First round is 5:30pm-6:30pm and second round is 6:30pm-7:30pm.
Scoring
Every match is best 2 out of 3 games. First two games are to 21 (cap at 21), third game (if necessary) is to 15 (cap at 15). Rally scoring (which means every point counts). There is no win by 2. This is to help ensure matches end within 60 minutes. Switch sides at multiples of 7 when playing to 21, multiples of 5 when playing to 15.

We will be referring to CBVA’s rules for the Doubles League on Monday, Tuesday ad Wednesday nights.

Coed 4’s Rules
Coed 4’s Format
1.There must be 2 males and 2 females on the court at all times. Teams will forfeit if they do not meet these requirements. You are allowed to have subs/free agents.
2. You do not need to rotate positions when you sideout, just need to rotate servers.
Technical Rules
1. The rules are very similar to indoor, besides the serve receive passing rule.
2. You cannot overhand pass a serve unless your hands are together.
3. Setting standards will be pretty loose regarding double-contact (double) violation
4. Setting standards will be regular on lifts/throws, if you hold on to the ball too long then it’s a lift/throw violation
5. You are allowed 3 touches after the block touch
6. You can open hand tip the ball.
7. You can pass free balls with your hands overhead and separate.
How old do I have to be to play?
You must be at least 18 years old to play in this league.
